What makes Smart Floor so durable and tough?
The durability and toughness is in its components.
  • a) Highly anti-abrasive protective overlay
    • The anti-abrasive overlay consists of millions of non-toxic aluminium oxide particles which acts as the deterent against scufts, scratches and water. The material is the 4th hardest meterial known to man.
  • b) Melamine impregnated decoractive film
    • The decorative is impregnated with melamine resin and is available in countless and designs.
  • c) High density Superior Water-Resistant hardwood fibreboard (HDF)
    • The high density fibre board is made from hardwood fibres compressed under high temperature and high pressure.
    • Hardwood has a natural resistance against moisture and humidity. Thus its fibres are most suitable to be used as the core of laminate flooring.
    • This is what gives Smart floor its fantastic water-resistant capabilities.
    • HDF is of extremely high density (>850kg/m3), making it superior over other material in hardness and shock resistance.
  • d) Balancing Film
    • The balancing film on the back surface balances up the board tp provide it with good dimensional stability.
    • Also impregnated with melamine resin, it is impenettable by water, thus acting as a moisture barrier for the floor.
  • e) State-of-the-art interlocking system
    • Milled to perfection using high precision German machinery, this superb interlocking mechanism provides a strong and seamless joint therefore enchancing the floor durability, aesthethic and H2O resistant properties.
    • Mechanical joint strength is as high as 6,800N (700kg/m).

For connecting Smart Floor with adjacent lower surface (carpet, PVC, and so on.)



Transition Profile
For transition between floors of the same level.



End Profile
For proper borders of different floor levels in front of adjacent sills, tiles or other raising.



Staircase Profile
For staircase nosing cover at the edge between the raise and step.


Skirting Profile
For covering expansion at the edges along the walls. Available in various heights.
